iRacing has a Licence progression system based on completing certain objectives before being allowed to race cars linked to a specific licence. This overview aims to show you exactly how to obtain these licences including the relevant participation and Safety Rating (SR) requirements.
D Licence
All iRacers start off as Rookies and are only allowed to enter official races that are part of the Rookie licence class. You are, however, allowed to enter official practice sessions for any race series regardless of licence class.
