We purchased a brand new Moza FSR wheel and R9 direct drive wheelbase from the good people at SimulatorCave.co.za just over a year ago. It was initially very different from the Fanatec DD1/Formula V2 system that we had previously but we quickly got used to it. This is what we experienced over this period.
Reliability
We had random disconnects with the Fanatec DD1 that were extremely frustrating and even cost us an iRacing European Sprint Series win on one occasion. However, the FSR wheel and R9 wheelbase were faultless during the entire 12-month period. We did thousands of laps in testing and races and the system never glitched out once.
